Maternity Session Information & Pricing
Congratulations on your pregnancy. You have made an excellent choice to document your pregnancy. These are memories that you and your new baby will fondly look at for years and they will be passed on to the next generation. Women’s bodies really are amazing, making precious little people! Your session is custom designed and tailored to your goals, so that you will have heirloom art pieces that you can proudly hang on your wall, or in a photobook and pass down to your baby.
There’s something we need to talk about upfront. Every single woman that I have ever photographed has felt self conscious about their body. Pregnant women, even more so. I find it incredibly sad that society has led us here, but alas, that’s where we are. I have always looked at pregnant women in wonder and awe. They look so amazing, so radiant and so incredibly beautiful. When we are pregnant, we put on weight, which makes us feel more self conscious. All I see when I look at a pregnant woman is beauty. My promise to you is this; I will pose you to accentuate this beauty and you will love your images. Be warned, you may even cry (good tears) when you see them!
How does it work?
Pregnancy photos are best captured at around 32-34 weeks. At this stage you are nice and round, but not too uncomfortable. The maternity photoshoot is a ‘mini’ shoot. This means that it will take less time and Louise will produce a gallery of about 12 images for you to choose from. As a result, there are smaller collections available for the maternity sessions.
Where is the session?
Louise’s preference for maternity photography is the beach. We can incorporate the beautiful Australian beach scenery with your stunning baby bump to create beautiful art. If you prefer, we can have an in studio session to create stunning, timeless images.
Studio sessions are held in Louise’s Oatlands studio, which is a suburb nestled between Carlingford, North Rocks and North Parramatta. It’s within close proximity of the inner west, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills and the general Hills area.
Your session will take approximately one hour.
How much does it cost?
The session fee is $100, which covers the photoshoot, retouching the best 12-16 images and the creation of a gallery of images for you to make your selection. Prints, collections and art are in addition to this. As these are mini sessions, the collections are very affordable, as follows:
How do I proceed?
You can contact Louise here or give her a call on 0412 868 335. Once you book your session, Louise will guide you on what to expect, how to prepare and of course, what to wear!
