Congratulations on your decision to document the first days of your new baby’s life. Louise cannot wait to create beautiful portraits with you. Those first few weeks go by so fast, that you forget so quickly how little they were. You will treasure these beautiful images forever!

How the newborn session works
Your newborn session is done in the first two weeks after your baby is born, while your baby is still sleepy and squishy! The session is held in Louise's Oatlands studio, which is a suburb nestled between Carlingford, North Rocks and North Parramatta. It's within close proximity of the inner west, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills and the general Hills area.
Your session will take up to three hours, as we stop to settle the baby as required. We always put your baby's needs first. Louise is an experienced photographer, and has 5 children of her own, so you are in great hands, she is experienced at soothing and settling newborns. For your assurance, everyone in the studio is fully vaccinated.
Louise has everything you need, including a collection of blankets, props, hats, headbands and teddies. She is also happy to incorporate any clothes, items or props that you have that you wish to photograph.
How do I prepare?
When you book your photoshoot, Louise will send you a session information guide that will outline how to prepare, what to expect and what to wear. You won’t need to provide much, you simply need to come to Louise’s studio and relax on the couch whilst Louise does her thing. You can even nap on the couch if you like!
How much does it cost?
The $99 covers the cost of the newborn photography session and the creation of a gallery of 25 - 30 beautiful, professionally retouched images. Prints, collections and art are in addition to this and you have $200 to spend on anything you like on the price list. You can use this link to see pricing and collections.
